In its cross-linked formulations, which vary in density depending on the area of application, it is used both to fill superficial and deep wrinkles and to create and restore volume. Hyaluronic acid facial fillers offer immediate, adjustable and reversible results for nasolabial folds, the lip contour and to restore volume to the cheeks: if necessary, they can be dissolved using hyaluronidase at any time.
Calcium hydroxyapatite (Radiesse)
Radiesse is a filler based on calcium hydroxyapatite, a mineral found naturally in bones. As well as providing an immediate volumising and smoothing effect, it has a unique property: it stimulates fibroblasts to produce new collagen in the treated area, resulting in a gradual regenerative effect that complements the immediate aesthetic result. It is particularly suitable for areas requiring greater structural support, such as the cheekbones and the jawline.

How does a facial filler treatment work?
The session begins with a facial assessment to analyse facial volume, bone structure, skin quality and the patient’s expectations, and to determine the most suitable treatment plan. The injections are then administered using precision needles or microcannulas, following a personalised injection plan.
The session lasts about 20 minutes. After the procedure, it is normal to experience slight localised swelling or redness, which resolves spontaneously within 24–48 hours. The result is immediately visible, and becomes even more pronounced over the following days as the product is absorbed into the skin.
There is no recovery time required: most patients resume their normal daily activities immediately after the session.
